STEAM Complex

Elevating the academic experience

The STEAM complex (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) will provide a learning environment where students can engage actively with each other, share and amplify their talents, and collaborate around real-world problems. It will inspire young people to follow their passions, exchange ideas, and make new discoveries while broadcasting our leadership in the field of project-based, experiential learning.

Your legacy will lie in moving RLC to the forefront in developing innovative leaders of tomorrow in a building conducive to a cutting-edge interdisciplinary curriculum. This will guide our students to be leaders in environmental innovation and stewardship while incorporating indigenous knowledge into STEAM for a sustainable world.

Project Goals
“Educating students in STEAM subjects prepares students for life, regardless of the profession they choose to follow,” says innovator and President of Enterra Solutions Stephen F. DeAngelis. It teaches students “how to think critically and how to solve problems—skills that can be used throughout life to help them get through tough times and take advantage of opportunities whenever they appear.” The complex is designed to:

  • connect students with each other and the natural world;
  • provide opportunities for students to learn from each other and their environment;
  • support a community rooted in diversity, connectivity, Indigenous teachings, and self awareness;
  • create an inclusive space for all students and staff;
  • provide a barrier free space where everyone can find their place;
  • launch the next era of Rosseau Lake College;
  • position Rosseau Lake College as a leader in sustainability and academic design.
