5-Day Boarding at Rosseau Lake College

Live where you learn

Rosseau Lake College’s 5-Day Boarding program offers students in Grades 7 to 12 a chance to live on campus during the week, and live at home on the weekends.

5-Day boarders arrive Sunday evening and travel home after class on Friday. While on campus, they live in one of our four boarding houses with peers from around the world, forming close connections and friendships.

Five- and 7-day boarding options share almost everything, with students receiving all the benefits of the boarding experience. With both options, they live in dorms, have a dorm parent, and have roommates. They attend all meals, classes, practices, athletic events, and study time.

They also join an intentionally diverse peer community. Conversations in class carry over into the evenings, with students gaining a unique international perspective in addition to a rich social experience.

If you live close to school and want to participate in boarding life but still have the flexibility of weekends at home, the 5-Day Boarding option is a great choice. It adds flexibility, allowing time to relax at home while staying connected to their existing friend group. 5-Day Boarding also offers a significant saving over the 7-Day boarding option.

We are now accepting applications for the 2023-24 academic year, but spaces are limited. Reach out to me with any questions or to apply for this unique boarding experience offered at one of the most unique schools in the country.

I find RLC to be incredibly progressive and adaptable. They are focused on developing kids for a future that we can’t see yet and I think that is probably the biggest reason why we sent our daughter there, because we wanted her to be ready for anything. I want my child to be adaptable and resilient and ready for what comes in the future. RLC has that same philosophy and that is why we love it so much.
