The Entrance Scholarship is for new students applying for a scholarship opportunity at Rosseau Lake College in Grades 7-12. We offer a limited number of scholarships to recognize students who demonstrate elevated potential to contribute to the academic, co-curricular, and community life of RLC. Scholarships are merit-based, not need-based, and may recognize strengths in academics, leadership, the arts, athletics, or community engagement. The number and value of scholarships awarded each year are determined by the school and available funds.
Families may indicate their interest in an entrance scholarship as part of the application process; no additional materials are required at that stage. All interested applicants are reviewed by the Scholarship Review Committee to identify students who are mission-appropriate and strongly aligned with RLC’s values.
Selected students will be invited to submit a short video essay highlighting their leadership, engagement, and academic strengths, while reflecting on either two Rosseau Roots or two Grandfather Teachings. Submissions are reviewed by the Scholarship Review Committee, and successful candidates are notified directly.
- Applicants must be new students applying as either day or boarding students
- Preference is given to students entering Grades 7–9
- Successful candidates will be mission-appropriate students who demonstrate leadership, engagement, and strong academic potential.
- The RLC Entrance Scholarship is a significant tuition award, with the value determined annually by RLC
- Families who demonstrate financial need through Apple Financial Services may also be considered for an additional need-based bursary.
Scholarships are awarded in June of each year to returning students who are nominated by the Rosseau Lake College Scholarship Review Committee. Scholarships are distributed as broadly as possible to the most deserving students.
