Corbin Patten '09 appointed to the RLC Board of Directors

Corbin is an alumnus of the school, a true RLC lifer, and we are delighted to welcome him to this leadership role.

Corbin Patten '09 grew up locally and is an RLC “lifer,” attending as a day student from 2003-2009. He studied architecture at the University of Toronto, George Brown College (earning an Advanced Diploma in Architectural Technology), and Lawrence Technological University in Michigan, where he completed both a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Master of Architecture. 

Corbin is owner and founder of Corbin Patten Designs (CPD), a Muskoka-based firm specializing in the design of sustainable cottages, boathouses, and vacation homes. Patten is recognized for his commitment to environmentally conscious design, focusing on creating functional spaces that harmonize with their natural surroundings.

Corbin’s work with CPD covers a range of services, including custom home and boathouse design, green building, and energy-efficient homes, primarily serving the Muskoka region and surrounding areas. In addition to running his firm, he is an intern architect at SRP Architects Inc., a professor at George Brown College, and an adjunct professor at Lawrence Technological University.
