Students at RLC can find support and access to health care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A school-wide team is set up to support each student's mental, physical, social, and emotional wellbeing.
The close-knit environment allows for comfortable, safe conversations to occur without the fear of judgement. If an issue arises that requires more support than our circle of care is able to provide, a mental health professional from Parry Sound Family Service is available. Medical care is available at local hospitals and clinics in Parry Sound, Bracebridge and Huntsville. Students who require medical care will be taken to the Nurse Practitioner in the village.
As of April 1, 2021 there is one confirmed COVID-19 case at Rosseau Lake College. RLC will continue to work with Public Health Services and follow all recommendations and required actions. For more information regarding Ontario provincial regulations relating to COVID-19, please consult Operational guidance: COVID-19 management in schools.
