It is required that payment of monthly statements be made by pre-authorized credit card.

Under Ontario law, all students, domestic and international, are required to have appropriate immunization prior to entering Rosseau Lake College. The Medical Officer of Health is required to enforce this regulation. Financial Aid

Financial aid provides funds to those who need assistance to meet the tuition expense of an independent school. Support is provided from the fundraising efforts of the school. A request for financial aid does not affect the admission decision.

Application for Financial Aid

Rosseau Lake College is a member of the Financial Aid for Canadian Students (FACS) program. To apply for aid, families must complete the forms and provide the information requested at www.applefinancialservices.ca. There is a non-refundable application fee of $75.00. Apple Financial Services prepares an analysis of need and provides it to the RLC Financial Aid Committee. Renewal applications for students currently receiving financial aid must be completed and submitted to Apple Financial Services for review by May 31st each year.

Financial Aid Committee Decisions

The RLC Financial Aid Committee reviews the Parents’ Financial Statement and the FACS needs analysis. The Committee does its best to distribute awards as equitably as possible to the most deserving students. However, the school’s financial aid budget does not meet the needs of all the applicants. The school holds this information in strict confidence and families are asked to do the same with all awards. Notice of assistance is made as soon as possible after May 31st each year.

Bursary Programme

Objective

To expand the opportunities for students to attend RLC on a multi-purposed front, in an effort to provide equal opportunity for students whose families do not have sufficient financial resources.

General

Bursaries are focused on providing support for Canadian students. While foreign students are not precluded, it is only in exceptional circumstances.

The process for consideration for a bursary requires a recommendation by the Headmaster to a Committee of the RLC Board. The Committee will determine if the student candidate meets the requirements of the bursary program. Donations to support this program are welcome and encouraged. Eventually the goal is to establish a separate fund from which to provide such assistance.

A bursary is assessed on a year by year basis. The program may be altered from year to year depending on the needs of the school and availability of financial resources.

RLC recognizes excellence. We help achievers realize potential through a variety of bursary programs.

  • Students with high potential
  • Needs-based award program
  • Merit-based award program
  • Support of Alumni – discount for the children of Alumni by 10%
