RLC is a diverse and welcoming educational and residential community that is committed to the promotion of the core value of "best of self" in each student.  We seek to provide a well-rounded educational experience in preparation for post-secondary education through adherence to and celebration of Canadian values, culture and outdoor experiences.

Educational Philosophy
Meaningful education involves more than good marks; it requires healthy relationships created within the context of a caring community. When students are truly accepted for who they are, and they live in an environment that is considerate and helpful, they learn the value of integrity and tolerance. Gaining confidence and building character through challenge and success promotes self-esteem and the ability to help others. RLC teaches valuable life skills beyond the typical curriculum that will contribute to building a solid and well-rounded individual.
