Adventures will range from occasional weekend outings to multi-day international trips over spring break. Students may also organize their own expedition to fulfill their Duke of Edinburgh requirements. Rosseau Lake College will assist in the facilitation of these trips.

Temagami Canoe Adventure with Hap Wilson
Lady Evelyn River and Maple Mountain are both integral attractions in one of Ontario’s newest wilderness class parks – the Lady Evelyn Smoothwater Provincial Park in Temagami. This is the “rooftop” of the province. Rugged escarpments and old mountains rise majestically above clear waters. Maple Mountain, one of the highest points in Ontario, is still revered as one of the most important First Nation spiritual sites in Canada. Known as Chee-bay-jing, place where the soul-spirit dwells, Maple Mountain was once an ancient Ojibwa burial site. The climb to the top is challenging – the view unprecedented in the province. Open to 6 students. Cost $900.00
