If there is one thing that alumni of RLC have in common is a shared appreciation for the campus and the uniqueness of the experience here. Whether it is outtrips, work hours, the Hekkla Marathon, or the sound of snow crunching underfoot on a frosty winter’s day as you went to class, there are some things that just cannot be duplicated.
Having attended the school makes you a member of the Rosseau Lake College Alumni Association and with that comes a standing invitation from me and the staff to visit anytime. There are several specific events at which alumni and their families are especially welcome. These include the Welcome Weekend in the summer, Fall Colour Weekend, Winter Carnival, and our annual Spring Event. So whether your pleasure is swimming or golf, fine dining or snowshoeing, playing shinny hockey on the lake or watching your children do crafts in the Art Studio, you can do it all as alumni.
Keep in mind it is not just your classmates who like to re-connect: staff like to see you too. Bob loves seeing alumni pop into the kitchen as do your old teachers. Some of them (like Jim Christopher) will remember you better than you might imagine!
Because our alumni span the globe and you are part of a special network of friends, wherever you travels may take you there will be always be someone you can contact. Speaking of which, if you have not given us your contact information and email address please do so right away. Not only will we make sure that you receive the Rosseau Review and updates about coming events, but you will become part of our business directory.
