Why Rosseau Lake College?
Students choose Rosseau Lake College because of the small supportive environment and year-round outdoor education opportunities. Rosseau Lake College chooses students who have a desire to fulfill our mission statement by becoming 'best of self'.
Students are accepted at Rosseau Lake College on the basis of past academic, athletic and social achievements and potential for future development; and the desire to be an active participant in student life at the school. Contact the Admissions department to arrange a convenient time to visit Rosseau Lake College. Class sizes are limited and it is suggested that early application be made.
To proceed with application please send us the completed Application Form, the applicant's academic reports for the past two academic years and any received for the current year, along with the $100 application fee. The Teacher Reference Form must be completed by either the Principal or appropriate teacher of the applicant's present school, and returned to Rosseau Lake College. A copy of the transcript from the applicant's OSR (Ontario Student Record) file is required for all applicants currently in an Ontario secondary school.
A personal interview at the school is an integral part of the application procedure. This interview is held with the parents or guardians and the applicant. As part of the admissions process the applicant will be asked to complete a written questionnaire and evaluation in mathematics and English.
Admissions are done on a rolling basis and finalized in the spring after reenrollment is completed. The decision to accept an applicant will be made as soon as possible after the admission procedure has been completed.
