Students have the opportunity to enrol in various visual and liberal arts, and music courses as well as participating in extra-curricular activities that appeal to their interests.
Rosseau Lake College offers a diverse variety of arts courses that emphasize learning through practice. Arts programs are comprehensive and offer avenues for each student to develop loyal and lasting friendships and respect for the beauty of art and nature. Students are encouraged to expand on creativity through creative thinking and problem solving, leadership opportunities, individual expression, integrating photography, art and technology, insight, diversity, and compassion, respect for the environment, self-evaluation and reflection.

Performing Arts Program
The Performing Arts Program focuses on instrumental music specifically band. Students have the opportunity to choose from and learn to play a band instrument in grades seven and eight. Senior students who choose music as their focus are part of one of the two performance-based courses that offer extra-curricular credit and involvement. All students take part in a minimum of three concerts each year. Students enrolled in music attend regional and national festivals, participate in the CISMF at Roy Thompson Hall, and travel to competitions in British Columbia, Boston, and Chicago. Community service opportunities are an integral part of every music course.
