With this in mind, Rosseau Lake College has crafted a visionary plan for the future allowing it to surpass its current dedication to a high-quality educational experience that develops confident leaders of tomorrow.

Centrally located on campus and positioned to take full advantage of the beautiful natural environment and magnificent views of Lake Rosseau, the new Rowntree Academic Centre will become the ‘heart’ of Rosseau Lake College.  Architecturally designed to be in harmony with the environment, the new Rowntree Academic Centre will ensure that learning space is consistent with standards of excellence that will maximize the educational and personal experience of RLC students.

Classroom Space
Based on a design of 6,000 square feet, the new building will offer dedicated and state-of-the-art teaching spaces that are equipped with SMART technology and technical upgrades.

Student Commons
The new building will showcase a student common area that will become the hub of campus life. Spectacular views to the R.H. Perry Memorial Lighthouse will dominate this room that is large enough to accommodate the whole RLC community for assemblies, special presentations, concerts or dances.  A welcoming fireplace and open space to do homework, group work, or simply hang out with friends will make this a natural gathering area.

Campus Infrastructure
Sophisticated upgrades of existing facilities will enhance buildings and residences and provide enhancements in hydro, septic, parking, and lighting. The new arrival circle leaves the rest of campus a pedestrian-friendly area.
