Outward Bound, September 7-9, 2007
This three-day leadership program is designed to build a strong student leadership team to take back into the school environment. The program focuses on developing student leadership through a shared wilderness journey, with high adventure elements to help students return to their school with skills and insights about working with others. In this expedition, students are invited to participate in a series of hands on activities that include the following: hiking, high ropes, rock climbing, initiative exercises and games, role playing and experiential workshops. Skills in communication and feedback, peer leadership, conflict resolution, problem solving and initiative are taught through the experiential components of the program.
